From July 16th to 18th, the 2020 Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was held at the Xuhui Campus. Academician Jilan Su, Dean Meng Zhou, Chair of SOO Council Wei Li, Associate Dean of Researches Chunhui Tao, Associate Dean of Academics affairs Bingxue Tian, Director of the Graduate Education Center of the Second Institue of Oceanography at MNR Bin Xue, as well as representatives from the Ocean University of Jiaotong University, and 40 young students from colleges and universities participated in this summer camp series of theme activities.

In order to let the campers fully understand the specific research fields of each discipline, and be included in the SOO family, activities such as discipline introductions, teacher-student seminars, campers party and other activities were held.

On the afternoon of the 18th, the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students of SOO was held.
